news story is more than a week old (the 28th of Oct), but I just saw it and shit a brick. I'm literally trying to get the brick out of my pants right now. It's awful.

NOT Aretha Franklin. I mean, listen to a song like "Since I've Been Loving You" or "Misty Mountain Hop". How can those songs be the same without Plant? I don't think they can.
I'll admit it though, his voice isn't what it used to be. The clips I've seen from the one-off show in London weren't exactly impressive.
But
still, he's pretty damn good, and it's Robert Fucking Plant! I seriously hope Page and John Paul reconsider what they're doing, because I just don't know if I can stomach a weird non-Plant Zeppelin CD. It may have worked for AC/DC, but AC/DC is definitely not Zeppelin. Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band in history ...
